Zest Beach Club
Zest Beach Club sits on the east side of Kalkan bay, across the water from the harbour. It is one of the larger clubs on this stretch of coast, with a seafront side for swimming and a separate pool area.
A family club across the bay
The club belongs to the Ada family. Brothers Tekin and Halit Ada started out in Kalkan about thirty years ago with a gift shop, then moved into restaurants and property, and their children and nephews now work in the business too.
Zest is split in two: a seafront section with a pier, bar and restaurant, and a poolside area in an olive grove around a saltwater infinity pool. The seafront side is laid out on several levels, with sunbathing platforms and steps down into the sea.
Food and drink
The kitchen serves breakfast and lunch only, with a mix of Turkish and international dishes. Breakfast runs until 11:45 and the kitchen closes at 18:30, so plan a long lunch here and dinner back in town. Takeaway food is available.
Getting there from the yacht
Zest runs a free boat from Kalkan harbour that carries up to eight people; message the club on WhatsApp to arrange a pick-up. One travel guide also mentions water taxis from near the Lighthouse café at the harbour. By road, the club is reached through Kömürlük. If you would rather come in your own tender, ask the club first about landing at its pier.
Good to know
Reservations are required and are taken on WhatsApp, where you can ask for a particular spot. The entrance fee covers a sunbed, umbrella, towel and drinking water, and children under 12 go free unless they use a sunbed and towel. The club opens at 09:00 and closes in the early evening, earlier late in the season as sunset comes sooner. Showers, luggage storage and a small boutique are on site.
