The resort describes the cooking as contemporary Japanese with local and Peruvian influences, served as sharing plates. A list of 150 wines and a set of Japanese-Peruvian signature cocktails go with it, and a DJ plays through the evening. Daily Sabah’s 2022 Göcek guide singled it out as the town’s most upscale Asian food, and it still appears in recent guides to Göcek’s restaurants.

The menu runs from edamame and salmon tiradito with ponzu sauce to sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls. There is also a tasting menu if you would rather leave the choices to the kitchen. Order several plates for the table to share, and start with one of the signature cocktails at the bar while the light goes over the bay.

Q Lounge is inside D-Resort Göcek, on the hill above D-Marin, which makes it an easy night ashore when the yacht is berthed there. Daily Sabah noted that guests can go up from the marina by buggy or take a taxi, so ask the marina office or the resort to arrange the ride. Göcek’s town centre is also close by.

Q Lounge is open from May to November, depending on the season. The bar runs from 18:00 to 01:00 and dinner is served from 18:00 to 23:00. Book ahead through the resort’s online reservation page or by email, especially in July and August. Daily Sabah called a reservation close to essential.
