Beach Club· Baja Sardinia

Phi Beach

Phi Beach is where the Costa Smeralda goes to watch the sun set. The open-air club is built into Forte Cappellini, a restored 19th-century fort on the granite rocks above Baja Sardinia, a few kilometres from Porto Cervo, and it is one of the few clubs on the coast you can arrive at by tender.

A fort on the rocks

Phi Beach opened in 2008 and has grown into one of the best-known clubs in the Mediterranean. The evening begins with the sunset session, as the doors open in the early evening, and carries on into DJ nights with international names through the height of summer.

Away from the dance floor, the restaurants make it a place for a long dinner as much as a party.

Eating and drinking

Luciano’s serves Mediterranean cooking from the coast and inland, built around the catch of the day, in a covered room at the water’s edge. Nammos, the Mykonos name, runs a summer restaurant here with seafood dishes for sharing and sunbeds by day. On nights with a big DJ, dinner carries a minimum spend and includes entry to the club.

Getting there from the yacht

Guests with a restaurant or club booking can moor in front of the club on its buoys, booked in advance, and the club runs a free tender service, which you can call by phone or on VHF channel 9. From Porto Cervo it is a short run along the coast.

Good to know

The club season runs from mid-July to mid-September, with the busiest nights in August. Book tickets and tables online, and the best sea-view tables by email or WhatsApp. The dress code is smart casual.
