Riva Beachouse
Riva Beachouse is the all-day beach venue at Ayia Napa Marina, with a restaurant, a hotel-style pool and its own beach. Its look is a tribute to the 1960s and 1970s and the golden age of travel.
A beach house at the marina
Riva sits on the western side of Ayia Napa Marina. Its aim, in its own words, is to raise the bar for food in Cyprus and to draw both locals and discerning travellers. There are three parts to it: a relaxed restaurant by the beach, a poolside area with waiters on hand, and a beachfront that, the venue says, is the only beach in the Ayia Napa area that faces the sunset. It also hosts private events.
What to order
The restaurant keeps the menu simple: Mediterranean cooking with some international additions, built on fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. By the pool there is a shorter menu for eating between swims. The best plan is a long lunch on the terrace, an afternoon on the beach, and a drink as the sun goes down over the sea.
Getting there from the yacht
For a yacht berthed in Ayia Napa Marina, Riva is a short walk along the marina. From Ayia Napa town or the fishing harbour, it is about ten minutes by taxi west along the coast.
Good to know
Day passes give access to the pool and the beach. The posted hours start at 9.30am every day, with closing at 8pm on weekdays, 9pm on Sunday and midnight on Saturday, and they can change with the season. Book a table or a day pass by phone or WhatsApp.
