Noma

Noma sits on the sand of Chrysakama beach, the stretch just east of the harbour. It describes itself as a family-friendly beach bar, with live music from local performers, themed parties and other events listed on its website. It is a relaxed place to wait for a boat trip or to end a day spent at anchor off the Akamas, and its own guide to the area covers the Blue Lagoon, the Baths of Aphrodite and walks on the peninsula.

Drinks come first: signature cocktails, premium spirits, local wines and craft beers. The kitchen cooks locally sourced seafood and grilled dishes alongside local specialities and international plates, so it works for a light lunch off the boat as well as a sundowner and dinner. Dishes are made for sharing, and there are desserts too.

Noma is a couple of minutes’ walk from Latchi harbour along the beach road. From a yacht anchored in the bay, take the tender into the harbour and walk east along the front. Psaropoulos fish tavern is a few minutes further along the same road if you want to move on for dinner, and the boat trips to the Blue Lagoon leave from the harbour next door.
