Paradise Beach Restaurant
Paradise Beach Restaurant has been cooking on Vlorë’s Lungomare, the seafront promenade, since 1997, and describes itself as one of the first in the town. Its tables look over the palms to the water, and it stays open from breakfast until late evening.
On the Lungomare since 1997
Almost three decades on, it is still a Mediterranean and Italian restaurant built around the sea. Fish comes from the local fishermen’s market and the catch in the bay, and the kitchen adds a grill for anyone who would rather eat meat.
The setting is simple: a terrace by the water on Rruga Murat Tërbaçi, the seafront road, with the beach and the palms of the promenade in front. In the evening the view west over the bay makes it a sunset table.
What to order
The speciality is the raw fish bar, so begin with crudo and ask what came in that day. After that, choose from the fish on offer, cooked to order. For meat, the dry-aged cuts include tomahawk, rib-eye and bistecca alla fiorentina, served with homemade dips. The bar has a cocktail list of seasonal drinks and classics, and the bartenders will take requests for something off the list.
Getting there from the yacht
Most charter yachts in the Bay of Vlorë berth at Marina Orikum, the full-service marina and port of entry at the southern end of the bay, about 30 minutes from Vlorë by road. A taxi along the coast road will drop you at the door, as the restaurant is on the seafront road itself.
Good to know
The restaurant opens every day from 07:30 to 23:00, so it works for a late breakfast or a long lunch as well as dinner. Reserve through the website or by phone, or send a WhatsApp message to the same number. In July and August, ask for a table right by the sea if you want to watch the sunset.
