Limani

Limani sits on Sarandë’s harbour front, where Rruga Jonianët meets the water. It began in 1998 as a small café by the harbour and has grown into a bar, pizzeria and restaurant that serves from breakfast onwards.

A harbour café since 1998

A local family opened Limani in 1998 as a small café on the waterfront, and over the years it became a restaurant used by residents as much as by visitors. Tables are set outside by the water, and fishing boats tie up close by, which is where much of the kitchen’s fish comes from.

It works at any hour: a coffee in the morning, a drink on the harbour in the early evening, or dinner later on.

What to order

In the morning, order coffee, an iced latte or an affogato with pancakes and homemade jam or a spinach omelette. From the bar, the cocktail list runs from fruit spritzes to a Negroni or an espresso martini, and the wine list leans Albanian, with Shesh i Bardhë from Vlorë and Debinë from Leskovik alongside Italian bottles. The bar also serves artisan gelato. For dinner, the kitchen does pizza, pasta and risotto, and grilled fish and seafood.

Getting there from the yacht

Sarandë harbour is the base for charters on the southern Riviera, and yachts berth in the port or anchor off the town. Limani is on the harbour front, so it is a few minutes’ walk from the quay or the tender landing.

Good to know

Opening hours change through the season, so call or email before planning a meal, especially outside July and August. Book a table by the water for the evening in high season.
