Antonini Navi
A shipyard with origins in 1950's yet with new strategy to build superyachts from 100ft and above, mostly in custom steel or aluminium up to 60-metres and based in La Spezia gulf of Italy.
About Antonini Navi
Originally established in 1950's, Antonini Navi is a boutique Italian shipyard based in La Spezia, specializing in custom steel and aluminium superyachts between 30 and 50 metres, known for its modular design philosophy and deep engineering heritage.
Origins and Heritage
Antonini Navi was founded in 2020 by the Antonini family and nautical engineer Aldo Manna, building on the industrial legacy of Gruppo Antonini, established in La Spezia in 1943 by Walter Antonini. Originally focused on metalwork and offshore oil‑and‑gas structures, the group pivoted toward naval construction in the 1990s and later expanded into yacht building. The shipyard occupies the Baia di Pertusola site in Muggiano, Lerici (SP) — part of La Spezia’s famed Miglio Blu (“Blue Mile”), a cluster of elite Italian yacht builders.
Facilities and Design Philosophy
Antonini Navi’s yard offers construction, refit, and mooring services for yachts up to 100 m, supported by a technical office of naval architects and engineers. Its hallmark is the UP40 modular platform, designed by Fulvio De Simoni, which allows clients to choose between Crossover, Island, or Explorer configurations by swapping bow and stern sections. This innovation led to the SUY 135 (Sports Utility Yacht) concept and subsequent custom projects such as Project Hanaa (31.2 m) and Seamore 34 (33.5 m), both steel‑and‑aluminium builds with interiors by Hot Lab and Hydro Tec. The yard’s approach combines Italian craftsmanship, engineering precision, and client co‑creation, positioning Antonini Navi as a rising name in the compact superyacht niche.
Vision and Market Position
Antonini Navi defines itself as “artisans of the sea” — creating a limited number of high‑quality, fully custom yachts that emphasize comfort, safety, and sustainability. Its affiliation with the Miglio Blu consortium connects it to Italy’s leading shipyards and suppliers, ensuring access to advanced materials and design talent. The company’s goal is to become a reference point for bespoke yachts under 500 GT, offering owners a balance of Mediterranean elegance and robust engineering.
Latest Models include:
SEAMORE-34 - 33.5M with 2x MAN1029 kW
The SEAMORE 34 yacht is a con that revolves around versatile and flexible areas. The main advantage of her is the main living area on the main deck. This is due to offer up to 150m2 with added retractable sliding windows mounted flush with the deck.
EVO-31 - 31.5M with x2 Cat C18 533 kW
The "EVO" Explorer has unique exterior designed by Hydro Tec's design team who specialise in unique explorer yachts.
LOUNGE-40 - 43M with 2x CAT 2x 1081 kW
An entry into megayacht world this concept is due to redefine outdoor and indoor living with seemless link up between interior and exterior with a full-wide-body design offering a 200 m² open space. This is likely going to be 40% more than yachts in the same category. The layout should also be fully open allowing the salon and aft area to be accesisble on three sides, creating a continuous and immersive environment. Thanks to that, the unobstructed panoramic view and direct connection to the outdoors will make the main deck a unique and fluid space where interior and exterior blend harmoniously.
UP-40 Platform
This is focusing on full steel displacement hulls compatible with three different concepts: Crossover, Motoryacht, and Explorer. The UP-40 platform should represent a milestone in naval architecture, engineering, and internal compartmentalisation not seen before at this level allowing three different concepts within this one specific project.
SUY-SERIES
This is a fully protected series with an exclusive worldwide deal which we cannot offer. The SUY ® - Sport Utility Yacht is a new concept that aims to translate usabilty of a 4-wheel drive SUV car into a verstaile superyacht for various uses. As a worldwide registered trademark created by Ing. Aldo Manna and architect Fulvio De Simoni, this concept should allow the owners to use their yacht with full variety of use-cases, from sports and recreational activities to cruising. There are currently 3x models, SUY 110, SUY 135 and SUY 190.
XPD-Series
The final series is distinctly named XPD series. This is supposed to be a modern reinterpretation of the true Explorer Yacht which is to be designed to offer a simpler and more elegant option for travel. As an ICE class, it should provide comfortable cruising in the most remote locations around the world. There are currently two models, XPD-88 and XPD-120.
In short, Antonini Navi represents the new generation of Italian yacht building — a family‑run yard with industrial muscle, creative flexibility, and a clear focus on custom craftsmanship.
