Antasia Beach Club

Antasia is a beach club, restaurant and rooftop bar on Poseidonos Avenue, set on one of the few sandy stretches of the Paphos coast. It belongs to the Thanos group, owner of the Anassa and Almyra hotels.

A beach club by design

The building, a low sweep of glass with a curved front that puts the sea at centre stage, was designed by the Cypriot practice Psomas Studio of Architecture, with interiors by Baranowitz + Kronenberg, the Israeli studio known for W hotels in Ibiza, Amsterdam and Prague. Inside are driftwood tables, white terrazzo floors and exposed concrete ceilings. The beach in front holds a Blue Flag, and Antasia was shortlisted in the summer venue category of the Cyprus Eating Awards in 2025.

What to order

The restaurant serves Asian and Mediterranean dishes made for sharing, with nods to Cypriot cooking, from brunch through lunch to dinner. On the beach, food and drinks are brought to the sunbeds, and the beach bar is known for cocktails served in whole coconuts and pineapples. In the evening, move up to the rooftop bar for craft cocktails as the sun goes down.

Getting there from the yacht

Antasia is about 1.5 km east of Paphos harbour along the seafront: around 20 minutes on foot, or a few minutes by taxi. From a yacht anchored off Paphos, come ashore by tender at the harbour and walk or take a taxi along Poseidonos Avenue.

Good to know

It is open every day. The restaurant and rooftop serve from 10.30am to 11pm, and beach service runs from 10.30am to 6.30pm. Tables and sunbeds can be booked online, and booking ahead is advised. Wi-Fi is free on the beach.
