With every modern sailing and navigational tool made today installed on board, she carries her 4 crew and up to 10 guests easily across the Caribbean seas at cruising speeds of around 10kn while speeds of well over 2okn can be reached if sailing off the wind.

SY TABOO is a luxury sailing yacht like no other. Operated by a Hartstone family of three plus ‘’always a pretty stewardess’’, husband David, wife Miranda and their son Travers are all highly experienced sailors who want to ensure you will have a great sailing vacation on board of their yacht and go home with fabulous experiences. During a luxury crewed yacht charter holiday on board of SY TABOO, you are not only their guest but also a friend. Apart from enjoying lovely facilities on board that include 2 x hammocks, a great range of water toys on board and latest navigational equipment, you can also assist when sailing or even take them helm on a suitable occasion. The most used water toys on board are two Ocean Kayaks which you can use anytime when not sailing. They are easy to use, virtually indestructible, and offer a great way to explore the area around the hidden bays and sleepy anchorages. Their 60hp 16' Dinghy is powerful enough to pull a skier and they also have have slalom and double skis, as well as a tube on board. At every anchorage you'll also find fantastic snorkelling sites with masks, fins and snorkels provided for free. For the more adventurous, scuba diving is available to certified divers. There are 6 tanks, weights and 2 compressors onboard although it is recommended that you do bring your own dive equipment or let us know in advance if you'll need to rent gear from one of our land-based operators. If you are new to diving, and you've never tried scuba diving yet would like to, there is a "Discover Scuba" course, which can be arranged upon request. And finally, whether you are a seasoned mariner or beginner spectator or indeed a professional sauilor, you'll appreciate Taboos speed and grace very much. SY Taboo will have her sails furled very rarely, mainly when anchoring in fact, and with great sailing speeds of around 20kn, you can rest assured you will be on a genuine sailboat too!
Their most recent offer is SAIL & GOLF. You would normally start your luxury crewed yacht charter vacation in Jolly Harbour, Antigua and play a game of golf on their beautiful green. On next day, the usual plan would be to sail to the Four Seasons Golf Course on Nevis Island where golfers have reported some of the best landscaping in the world. After another day of sailing, you would hit the Royal Marriotts St Kitts Golf Course, where you could play directly next to the sea. The sightseeing here is especially amazing and cameras are recommended in this Paradise beyond belief as in words of Hartsone family, your crew on board. The guests will have a total of 5 queen double or 1 queen master and 4 twin convertible cabins at their disposal, with the twin or double also featuring additional 2 Pullman berths. The captain on board is a former Rock ‘n’ Roll music star David who sails more than 20 years and in that time has crossed the Atlantic many times, sailing all around New Zealand and criss-crossed all locations in the Caribbean. His relaxed style is appreciated by many a yacht charter client who return regularly to SY TABOO. Miranda is a chef who used to work for many of the best Vancouver based hotels. With a constant smile on her face and great sailing experience too, you can rest assured that your menu will be carefully planned and executed with all dietary considerations in mind. As an owner operated yacht, SY TABOO is also crewed with Travers as first mate, (David and Miranda’s son) and a carefully chosen stewardess. As professional photographers, David and Miranda also collect hundreds of photos of your yacht charter experience with them and edit this in a DVD video as a moment of your sailing holiday on board of SY TABOO.
De-Luxe Classic Sailing Yacht TABOO charter prices:
TABOO super yacht charter prices start at 23,100 US$’s per week for up to 4 guests and then rise to 25,600 US$’s for 6 guests, to 27,550 US$’s for 8 guests and finally to 28,900 US$’s for up to 10 guests, always per week and all inclusive under Caribbean terms and in period from May 1st – December 15th or during summer season. During winter season rates are usually 1,000 US$’s higher, while the peak season is around 20% higher and 10 day charter may be requested ie. 10 days for 10 guests during holiday season is 39,900 US$’s. In some locations VAT can be charged on top and prices can be higher on special days such as NEW YEAR or during special events such as Antigua boat show or racing events such as the Buckets.

Luxury Classic sailing yacht TABOO (24.4m / 85’) was launched by Oceanis shipyard back in 1994. Always kept in great condition, she was refitted in 2007 and most recently in 2015. SY TABOO accommodates up to 10 yacht charter guests sleeping in 1 Master suite, 4 queen double cabins, all of which are convertible into a twin cabins with two featuring additional Pullmans. All cabins are en-suite and feature their own audio and visual entertainment systems, cabin fans, intercom, phone, hair dryers etc.. There are always at least 4 super yacht crew members on board including the captain.
This charter yacht mainly cruises at speeds of around 9kn and is normally offered for luxury crewed yacht charters within the East Caribbean throughout the year. Her crew are happy to offer ONE WAY or TANDEM charters between other destinations too and on request. Thanks to her V-892 Detroit diesel super yacht engine totalling 1 x 350hp, during the right sea and wind conditions, she can reach maximum speeds of around 15.5kn. Her best features are stunning classic design in both interior as well as exterior, latest state-of-the-art facilities on board and top super yacht crew with one of the best owner families in the world!
