Luxury Sailing Yacht MARGAUX Charter Brief:SY MARGAUX (19.7m/66ft) is a rare SWAN 65 sailing boat launched in 1974 and as a luxury vessel, continuously updated and managed to highest industry standards. Designed by legendary Sparkman & Stephens, she was hull #8 out of a total of 41 such boats ever built. With a superior hull strenght, seaworthy hull, above average turn of speed and overal great sailing charachteristics, she remains one of the most desireable classic sailing yachts.
With a comprehensive refit completed in 2012, she received a new teak deck, new electrics and lighting system, complete new plumbing with el. toilets, air con and generator refit, new dishwasher, washing machine and other toys such as dinghy. On top, she also received an appropriately powerful bowthruster. Usually based in the Balearics, her professional captain could arrange sailing itineraries around islands such as Mallorca, Ibiza and Menorca or Formentera.
Tip: The master suite is aft and across full beam with further 2 cabins forward. WLAN, iridium, Sat Nav and other modern facilities are also on board.
