Marsaudon Composites — Shipyard Overview Based in the historic Keroman submarine base in Lorient, Marsaudon Composites has built its reputation as a specialist in vacuum‑infused, ultra‑light, fast cruising multihulls. Founded in 1999 by Samuel Marsaudon, the yard evolved from producing composite molds for offshore racers into a full builder of high‑performance catamarans, including the TS42 and TS5. Its philosophy centres on minimising displacement to achieve offshore‑racing average speeds, a DNA now carried forward under the Grand Large Yachting group, which acquired the shipyard and its ORC (formerly TS) range in 2023.
