Superyacht CAKEWALK (85.6m) in the West Med

CakewalkGiga yacht Cakewalk, an 281’ Derecktor built yacht is currently cruising in the West Med. This one of a kind, largest ever built US superyacht, if measured by volume, or by size, since 1930’s, is one of the most impressive superyachts of today. Featuring three superyacht tenders, including a custom built Riva Limited Edition AquaRiva 100 ‘Cento’, this mega yacht has a genuine 14.3m wide boat house where all the water sport toys are stored. She normally cruises at speeds of around 15kn whereby a total range is up to 5.000 nautical miles.

Cakewalk is one of the most significant superyachts of recent times and as such it is a rare fee to see her impressive structure lying around Port Hercules in Monaco recently. She is a true masterpiece of sensible, yet spectacular design and latest technology. She boasts Tim Heywood’s stunning exterior design, an exquisitely styled interior by Liz Dalton of Dalton Designs and a number of handmade master canvasses placed in the most visible locations. Despite having an elevator which connects all decks, the iron staircase is seen as the most distinguishing feature of this yacht. This centrally based, spiral staircase features wrought ironwork which reaches from the lobby all the way up to the sun deck.

In keeping with the owner’s dual mission to make the superyacht Cakewalk as a private vessel as well as an exclusive luxury charter yacht, hospitality and comfort are emphasized on every deck. This provides guests with full 5 decks for their pleasure and a whole main deck for 6 guest cabins, a rare billionaire type of luxury even amongst the largest superyachts in the world.
