Built by the Hatteras shipyard in 1987 and refitted in 2008, MY NORTHERN LIGHT is a great charter yacht for exploring the Alaskan wilderness.  With its many outdoor areas, including the covered aft deck featuring a Jacuzzi hot tub, MY Northern Light does not lack on luxury facilities. Her foredeck is large and offers comfortable built-in seating, while on the spacious flybridge you can enjoy al-fresco dining and cocktail parties with a wet bar to assist.  The views from here are better than from anywhere else on board, yet there are optional panels for added weather protection in adverse conditions.

On a typical 7-day luxury yacht charter itinerary in South East Alaska, you would usually cruise between Juneau and Sitka enjoying the amazing natural beauty and rich flora and fauna.  Sightings of bears, whales, glaciers and icebergs are regular occurrence, with many stopovers allowing you to experience local culture and history as well as taken an excursion or two.  A trip through India Passage or through Gulf of Alaska and the Bearing sea is most likely going to be reserved for larger, at times ice-breaking ships such as MY LEGEND, yet with Northern Light you can also have a great adventure exploring an area of the planet Earth that probably has more awe-inspiring scenery than any other region of the world.  The private yacht charters in South East Alaska are usually organised anytime between May and September.

In terms of accommodation, MY NORTHERN LIGHT can accommodate 6 charter guests in 3 cabins. Master Stateroom has a centre-lined, walk-around King size bed, en-suite bathroom with bathtub and a large changing area that can be used as an office. Plenty of natural daylight comes through the large windows, with additional 4 large opening ports with screens providing circulating fresh air.  There is also a VIP Stateroom with Queen Bed and a third Stateroom with two single beds. VIP and Port Staterooms share a Bathroom with shower.

If this feature is inspiring enough, why not start planning the exploration of narrow gorges and precipitous fjords, and an island hoping between weather-beaten icy straits where humpback whales pierce to the surface, a bear hunts for the catch of the day and wide-eyed eagles roam the skies, while you and your closest family members or friends kayak to the base of an ancient glacier, enjoy the view of a waterfall at Baranof warm springs or simply relax on board while your crew prepares the largest Dungeness crab for an al-fresco dinner served in astonishing surroundings.

MY NORTHERN LIGHT is available for luxury crewed yacht charters in South East Alaska from 20,500 US$’s per week.  If three crew members are on board, the rates are 22,500 US$’s per week.  Negotiated deals, lastminute offers and longer term yacht charter promotions can be discussed.

Swiss party of 4 gentleman chartered a luxury sailing catamaran LADY ALLIAURA in the Caribbean and had absolutely amazing experience.
